Why small is the right size for design work.

Designs Grey is a small design studio based in Rochester, New York. We have been operating since 2019. We work with founders, brand managers, and product teams who know what they want but need someone who can execute it properly.

Our practice covers brand identity, web design, and UI/UX. We are not a full-service agency. We do not handle paid advertising, social media management, or content production. We design things.

Rochester is a design city. It has a long history in imaging technology and visual communication. That context shapes how we think about craft. Every project we take on is finished to the same standard, whether it is a logo or a full design system.

Our client list is mostly small to mid-size businesses and early-stage companies. We have also worked with larger organizations on specific projects, but the studio stays intentionally small. Three designers, one project at a time.
